Day 1

Highlights Trekking from Barshaini to Kheerganga

9:30 AM – Meet us at Barshaini. Prior to leaving Barshaini. This is the place where you can buy extra supplies on the off chance that need be.
From here you will begin the 12 km long journey to Kheerganga. The expected time to cover this trip is 6-7 hours.

HOW TO REACH

By air:
The closest air terminal to Kasol is in Bhuntar which is 25km away. It is a homegrown air terminal and is all around associated with significant urban areas in India by normal departures from Delhi, Mumbai and Amritsar. Outside the air terminal, you can hire a prepaid taxi which will cost you around Rs. 1500 single direction. You can likewise employ a common taxi which will cost less. In a package we do provide pick up and drop facility as well an add on.
By Bus:
From Delhi: There are frequently volvo buses available from Delhi to Manali. Usually buses depart in the evening. Get down at Bhuntar 50km before Manali.
From Chandigarh: As chandigarh has the airport and railway station. So many come from this way. From chandigarh its 8 hours journey to bhuntar.
Note: To reach Kheerganga, The nearest town is Bhuntar. Bhuntar is 50km before manali. From Bhuntar you enter in Parwati Valley. The very famous town Kasol is located after 25km on the way to Barshaini (Trek Starting point near Tosh).
Bhuntar is meetng point of river Byas (coming from manali side kullu valley) and River Parwati (coming from kheerganga side 🙂
By Train:
Chandigarh is the closest railway station. Its 8 hours to bhuntar and 2.5 hours further to reach barshaini.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard Cancellation Policy when you drop a trip:
1. Undoing 30 days before the beginning date of the trip – Get a money discount with 15% scratch-off charges.
2. Undoing between 30 days and 20 days before the beginning date of the trip – Get a money discount with half scratch-off charges OR, to stay away from the dropping charges, get 80% of your journey expense back.
3. Scratch-off under 20 days before the beginning date of the trip – No money discount, get half of your journey charges back in an Indiahikes Trek Voucher.
4. Undoing on the beginning day of the trip, or no show on the beginning day of the journey – Unfortunately, no discount or voucher.
Significant Note 1: The Trek Insurance sum isn’t refundable assuming the trip is dropped during the most recent 6 days before the beginning of the journey. In any remaining cases, the Trek Insurance sum is discounted alongside the trip charge.
